Anton Lake PNT – North

The Anton Lake PNT-North offers trails created by grazing horses, accessible with permission during winter or dry fall. It is not a standalone desintionation but is suitable for snowshoeing and exploring uneven terrain.

Both parcels of Anton Lake PNT [1] are under grazing leases. They are accessible by following the respective wishes of the lease holders [2]. Of the two, the North parcel offers a few kilometres of trails created by the livestock (currently horses).

Probably best to access the site, with permission, in the winter or a dry fall as the site could be muddy otherwise.

The North parcel is not a destination location on its own. It was interesting to poke around and good for those wanting to improve their basic snowshoeing technique of walking through trees and uneven terrain.
