A return visit is needed to this site as only the Eastern (Perch) portion was visited. A look at satellite images suggest easier access in the Western (Canard) portion.

This Natural Area straddles two lake systems found in its name. SAPAA delinates the two into the Lac Canard (Western) and Perch Lake (Eastern) half sections. The Lac Canard appears to have oil field leases on it but is yet unexplored for YEGVille. The Perch Lake is nearly inaccessible due to private land holdings to the North.
