The J.J. Collett Natural Area offers a kid-friendly environment with well-maintained trails and boardwalks. The area is accessible all year, and is located near Lacombe and Ponoka, but only walking is allowed. The area features excellent signage and a poignant memorial.

A bit of a drive from Edmonton but great if you are looking for a stop after a day Gull or Buffalo Lake, both nearby. Excellent for kids with great infrastructure.
