Anderson Creek NA

The Natural Area offers thick forests and animal trails, ideal for biological or hunting activities, best visited in Fall before heavy snow. It features challenging trails and lacks amenities like washrooms. The area is mostly undisturbed making it ideal for serious outdoor pursuits.

Thickly forested Natural Area with mostly animal trails. Because of depressions, best visited in the Fall before significant snowfall accumulations. Good for biological or hunting pursuits.

  • Is it Worth It and Why Go Here?: Overall (4 out of 5) Thick mixed wood forest with meandering game trails. Good for biological and hunting pursuits. If in the area, I will revisit in the Fall when there is less standing water.

  • The Drive Out: The area SW of Pigeon Lake has escaped significant development. Lots of good asphalt highways.
