Just west from Pigeon Lake on highway 13, the NA has a thick forest cover. Likely excellent for hunting, not so much for walking.

Battle Lake is like the forgotten little sister of Pigeon Lake. Of course Pigeon Lake pales in comparison to the much more glamorous cousin, Sylvan Lake further south. In both cases, this is a good thing. It means less development, and more nature.
Not Much YEGVile’ing Here. The well site dominates the southern portion of the site with a large cleared field making up easily a third of the NA. Beyond the pipeline installation, there are no discernable trails down to the lake. A steep embankment demarks the south shore of the Battle Lake riparian zone meaning no lake access. A quad tracks paralleling highway 13 and near the ditch, but outside the NA.
