Buck Lake NA is divided into a North and South parcel. Likely the North one is worth visiting but I have not been there. The South parcel is undisturbed and good for wildlife but not recommended for YEGVille.

The following is for the South parcel of Buck Lake NA and will likely change with a visit to the North. The North is near estate communities and as such has a number of ATV Trails going into it (but not evaluated to date).
The South parcel is undisturbed but requires wet bush whacking to see… wet bush.
