This Natural Area is divided into two parcels. The South Parcel is on the West side of HWY 22 while the North is on the East Side and North of the locality of Moon Lake. To date, only the South portion has been explored. Hunting or botanical pursuits would be reasons to go otherwise the South parcel is largely undisturbed.

An ATV Track follows the South boundary of the South parcel of this site (the one on the West side of HWY 22). A stream mid-way necessitates a steep descent and ascent.
Getting to the track requires permission from the landowner to the East of the site. A dilapidated log cabin suggests the site was homesteaded at one time or hunting shelter.
